The first part contains historical notes on Saint Valentine, the saint known throughout the world as the patron saint of lovers, and is illustrated with color images of his sanctuary in Terni.
The second, more substantial part contains 35 chapters on the theme of Love (note the capital L!), taken from the writings of Maria Valtorta.
It is preceded by a brief but fervent introduction by Father Ennio Laudazi, a Carmelite and avid reader of the mystical Valtorta.
